Students may do one a day for 8 days, 2 a day for four days, or any format that works for your classroom. They answer questions in order to reinforce what they have learned. ► Read about Visible Light - Students read about visible light and vision. They observe how light moves through water and draw diagrams of their observations and then answer questions about the diagram. ► Diagram Reflection, Refraction, and Absorption - Students read about reflection, refraction, and absorption. Students then answer questions to reinforce the concepts learned. Groups compare models in order to determine which periscope model provides the best view. Different groups construct different telescopes. ► Investigate & Build Telescopes - Students read about convex and concave mirrors and lenses and build a telescope. ► Play a Game - Students interact with a video game about light and then answer questions about the games.
